* Maintain personal hygiene
* Change clothes bed linens daily.
* Regular daily bath
* Clothes and linens to be washed in hot water and ironed.
Thorough scrubbing with soap and water.
Thorough drying of skin after bathing.
Treat all close contacts.
Homeopathic Remedies :
ARSENICUM ALBUM: The eruptions could be dry and full of small pustules. Burning and itching < at night.
CAUSTICUM: When scabies are supressed by local treatment. Excessive itching , yellowish looking skin, warts. Patient extremely sensitive to cold air
HEPAR SULPHUR: Eruptions on the folds of skin hands and feet. Eruptions pustular and crusty oozing a foul discharge. Extremely sensitive to cold air.
SULPHUR: One of the supreme remedies for recurrent , maltreated, obstinate , suppressed cases of scabies . Intense itching , < undressing and from the warmth of the bed.
PSORINUM: History of scabies in the past or scabies suppressed with the help of conventional medicines. The scabies appear in every winter and disappear in summer. Violent itching , < by warmth of bed or by scratching. In cases when well selected remedies fail to relieve or permanently improve.
